Love in the time of COVID-19
It’s official, 2020 has been a doozy of a year and we’re not even halfway through it. As the days turn into weeks, we’re all trying to remain positive. Being social means FaceTime calling, drive-by birthday singing, and social distancing park meetups. And keeping fit and healthy? How about at-home virtual workouts, jogging while awkwardly dodging people, and my favourite, putting those condo stairs to use! Oh, and does anyone notice that their partner uses the word “pivot” or the phrase “let’s put a pin in that” on work calls and think, “who am I with?”
Unfortunately, there have also been truly unfortunate circumstances. All corners of our lives are being affected, bringing much frustration and heartbreak. This summer may mean continued self-isolating, social distancing, and other quarantine measures. Those with wedding plans are without exception, travel plans have been undone and we’ve been barred from seeing our friends and family. Ultimately, the decision to postpone or even cancel such a special date is not an easy thing to do.

Celebrating-in:
Several of us have come together to bring you Wedding Night-In, an intimate celebration delivered right to your door. Our team is made up of The Event Design Co. , Rikki Marcone Floral Design, Sweet Sister Chic Sister Cakes, and yours truly, Thunderloft Paper Goods.
For the couples who have had to postpone or cancel their wedding plans due to the pandemic, there is still love deserving of celebration. The Wedding Night-In box is filled with beautiful goodies from cake to champagne and will be delivered right to your door. It’s the perfect way for you and your fiancé to bring a little sparkle to your original wedding date and celebrate that love in fact, is not cancelled.
Get Married- In
For those who do choose to get married at home, we’ve got all your ceremonial add-ons available to make for a celebration-in just right. Along with your Wedding Night-In delivery, we bring in your officiant and 4 guests over Zoom for an intimate ceremony in the comfort of your own home. Celebrate afterward with your wedding guests who will have each been delivered champagne and cake to take in every moment with you!

Grazing Board for Two: Cured meats, cheeses, artisanal breads + fruits. Perfect for sharing. (+$60)
Mini Bridal Bouquet & Boutonniere: Let us know your wedding colour palette and we will do our best to recreate your wedding flowers using seasonal blooms. (+$175)
First Dance Calligraphy Memento on Handmade Paper: Custom first dance lyrics + wedding details calligraphed on handmade paper (8" x 10"). Perfect for framing! (+$45)
VIRTUAL CEREMONY:
Exchange vows in the safety and comfort of your home. Our officiant will perform a symbolic, customized ceremony via Zoom. Include your loved ones in your virtual ceremony with 4 log-ins. Each of the 4 log-ins will also receive a box of 3 gourmet macarons and a complimentary 200 mL bottle of sparkling wine delivered to their doorstep (+$285).
